01What we collect

Account details you give us (name, email, phone number), business information you publish on your listing, and the documents you submit for verification. We also collect standard usage data — pages visited, searches made — to keep the directory working and honest.

02How we use it

To run your listing, process payments, calculate your Trust Index, and send service messages like verification updates. We never sell your personal data, and we never use your phone number for marketing.

03Verification documents

Your ID, business license and location proof are encrypted at rest, visible only to the verification team, access-logged, and never shown on your public listing. Once your verification decision is final, documents are archived and deleted on the schedule in section 06.

Verification documents are read by humans, not used to train AI models.

04AI & your data

BizBot AI and AI blog generation work from the content of your public listing and the briefs you write. Drafts belong to you. We don’t feed your private account data, payment details or verification documents to any AI system.

05When we share

With processors that run the service (payments, text messaging, hosting) under strict contracts; with authorities when the law requires it; and with directories you explicitly enable through citation sync. That’s the whole list.

06Retention & deletion

Account data lives as long as your account does. Verification documents are deleted 90 days after a final decision. Delete your account and we erase personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention law.

07Your rights

Access, correct, export or delete your data any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us. If you’re in the EU, UK or California, these rights are backed by GDPR and CCPA — we honor them for everyone, regardless of location.
